Changing Landscapes and Acquiring Expertise in the Agricultural and Seaport Construction.

ULTRA has long been concerned with harmonious development of the land to provide a healthier life for mankind. We have participated in projects such as underground water resource development, hydroelectric dams, and the conversion of land for agricultural usage. The Hasa District farmland project, ULTRA's model agricultural civil engineering project, is nearing completion after fifteen years of work. ULTRA has turned 4,900ha into fertile farmland by constructing 250km of irrigation channels, the readjustments of arable land, and land reclamation. ULTRA has also carried out such important infrastructure projects such as underground water development in Ulsan, port construction in Pyeongtaek, foreshore reclamation, agricultural development of Youngsan river and Nam river, irrigation system at Sapgyo river and preparation of large-scale housing sites for new satellite cities.
In the meantime, ULTRA has acquired expertise in the harbor construction segment from its successful operation of the stray field system for the Jubail Naval Base in Saudi Arabia, the Excavation & Dewatering Underground Command Center in Jeddah and the harbor facilities in Pyeongtaek, Korea. ULTRA also strives to accumulate quality results for state-of-the-art construction projects such as breakwaters, shore protection, piers, cargo-handling facilities, container docks, and rear bases.
